Two-day interactive workshop, led by musician and curator Alexandаr Hadjiev, organized in partnership with Central Halls, Kaufland and 180° – Laboratory for Innovative Art.
What’s the Program About?
In this workshop, improvisation will be explored not only as a musical or artistic technique. Through various games and exercises, you will be able to:
• Discover new sounds to integrate into a collective spontaneous musical composition. • Get acquainted with the principles of creating an artistic concept. • Learn how improvisation enhances critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Develop a stronger sense of personal identity, voice, and confidence. • Improve your ability to communicate and collaborate in a team setting. • Cultivate adaptability, spontaneity, and self-expression, which can be applied in various areas of life.
This is not just a workshop to learn about improvisation methods – it is a space for self-development through creative expression. We create a fun environment where you can unleash your creative potential and boldly push the boundaries of your inner critic.
Who Can Apply?
This workshop is open to high school students aged 16 to 19, and no previous artistic experience is required. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some creative background, the Improvisation Lab is suitable for anyone eager to develop their artistic abilities and learn how to work in a team in a fun and supportive environment.
We welcome participants of all genders, backgrounds, and abilities — everyone is encouraged to join, regardless of experience, ethnicity, or physical abilities. This is an inclusive space where diversity is accepted and valued, and everyone can be authentic and express themselves freely.
