About

180 ° is one of the most innovative events for contemporary art in Bulgaria. 180 degrees is not only a festival, but also a platform / laboratory for contemporary music, dance, theater, design and architecture. 180 degrees is an experiment that provokes the art, audience, artists and the space. The mission of the 180 degrees team is to provide conditions for young artists to develop their innovative creative ideas. The idea is to avoid all kinds of created artistic filters and give them complete freedom of creativity.

The audience can be involved in this process not only as an observer, but sometimes as well as participants. During 180 Degrees, artists exchange knowledge, creative techniques and inspirations, which leads into the creation of new international collaborations and networks.

In 2013, the four musicians Elitsa Bogdanova, Alexander Hadjiev, Veneta Neynska and Stefan Hadjiev gave the starting point of “180° – laboratory for innovative art”. Born of music and dance, the festival has become a platform and laboratory for innovative art, which includes today music, dance, design, theater and architecture.
