180° Foundation is an independent cultural organisation based in Sofia, creating spaces for artistic experimentation, exchange and encounter.

We bring together artists, disciplines and communities through festivals, laboratories, educational projects and collaborative formats. Our work moves between experimental music, contemporary performance, interdisciplinary art and cultural education, with a focus on artistic freedom, curiosity and new ways of working together.

Since 2014, 180° has been connecting the Bulgarian and international independent art scenes, supporting emerging and established artists and creating space for ideas that don’t always fit into conventional formats.

Today, the Foundation brings together three interconnected platforms: 180° Laboratory for Innovative Art, 180° SHUM and 180° Community Lab.
