180° is the alternative for young artists who would like to escape established rules of their art and further develop their innovative ideas. 180° is the world where tradition stays unknown. 180° presents well-known arts in a different and unexpected light.

19:30 | Play° - This year 180° will open with a performance by students from the Sofial's art schools, generated during the Creativity Lab (part of 180° Community Lab 2022) and led by artists Ksenia Ravvina, Mihaela Dobreva and Alexandar Hadjiev. Also by tradition 180° will provoke the audience with an experiment created by theatre artist Florence Ruckstuhl and the 180° team, who will introduce all the participants and the theme of the festival.

18:30 | 180° Community Lab° Results and panel of the symposium on "The Role of Art in Society". The symposium will bring together the most diverse representatives of the cultural (independent and product-oriented) scene to provoke them to actively engage through the exchange of experiences, ideas and discussions, formulating utopias and common goods for the sector and its development. Moderation and concept: Florence Ruckstuhl, Mihaela Dobreva and Alexandar Hadjiev.
19:30 | Team 1° Dancer Lea Burkart (Germany), composer Andreas Eduardo Frank (Switzerland) and the tandem of theatre and performance artists Ketty Marinova and Stefan Prohorov (Bulgaria) will present the outcome of their collaboration inspired by this year's festival theme existinct.
19:30 | Team 2° Director Ksenia Ravvina (Germany/Russia), choreographer Marion Darova (Bulgaria) and composer/producer Jan Brauer (Germany) will present the outcome of their collaboration inspired by this year's festival theme existinct.
19:30 | Team 3° Musician Mirian Kolev (Bulgaria), dancer Natasha Vergilio (Brazil/Germany) and visual artist Ole Meergans (Germany) will present the outcome of their collaboration inspired by this year's festival theme existinct.
19:30 | Student Lab° For yet another year 180° Festival - Laboratory for Innovative Art (Bulgaria) in partnership with the International Ensemble Modern Academy (Germany) sets up a laboratory for students and young professionals. The students Rebecca Lawrence - double bass (USA), Jacobo Rebledillo - viola (Spain), Rebecca Blau - flute (Switzerland), Maria Tabakova - dance (Bulgaria), Gergana Ivanova - visual arts (Bulgaria) and Irina Stoyanova - dance (Bulgaria) will present the outcome of their collaboration inspired by this year's festival theme existinct, turning the building of the Goethe-Institut Bulgaria into their artistic laboratory.
19:30 | Improvisation Lab° Outcomes of the improvisation and chamber music lab (part of the 180° Community Lab) led by flutist and co-founder of Ensemble Modern, Dietmar Wiesner
20:15 | Stop° Official closing of the festival and final of the short silent film competition VideoMotion 2022, open to professionals and amateurs. This year the theme is existinct, and the videos selected at the final will be soundtracked with live improvisation by the festival musicians.
