2024
In 2024, the 180° – Laboratory for Innovative Art Festival celebrated its 11th edition, taking place for the first time at the beginning of October. Under the theme tacet – the Latin term for silence – the festival brought together international artists from diverse disciplines to explore silence as a state of listening, observation, and inner intensity.
Throughout the week, audiences experienced a series of performances, concerts, and collaborative labs merging experimental music, contemporary dance, visual arts, literature, and performance. Three artistic teams featuring participants from Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Ukraine, and the UK presented projects inspired by tacet.
The 2024 edition also featured the Community Lab° program and concluded with the Videomotion short silent film competition, accompanied by live improvisations performed by 180° artists.
