OPEN CALL CriticLab° – with focus in critical writing and independent culture

CriticLab°, part of the 180° Community Lab° Program, is a platform for dialogue and critical writing, focusing on the independent art scene in Sofia. Selected participants will have the opportunity to attend a wide range of cultural events, engage with international artists and professionals, and receive mentorship to strengthen their skills in critical thinking, discussion, and writing.

Who can participate?
Students and emerging professionals based in Sofia with a strong interest in the local independent art scene. CriticLab° is ideal for anyone eager to experience, reflect on, and write about interdisciplinary artistic practices and events.
Timleline: October – December 2025. The project schedule will be created in coordination with the availability of the selected participants after the selection process, allowing for a flexible and tailored experience.
First Meeting (online): September 30, 2025, at 11:00 EET (approx. 90 minutes)
Confirmed Workshop Dates: October 12; October 17; (Additional dates to be announced)
Working language: English and Bulgarian
